Flashback: The Seattle Star Creative Commons Celebration

Our friends at The Seattle Star recently reminisced about the Creative Commons Celebration I played at last year at the beautiful Chapel Performance Space.

From the post at The Seattle Star:

Some of you know that we hosted a half-dozen Creative Commons events in 2018. As we gear up for another round of events in 2019, we look back to the very first Seattle Star Creative Commons Celebration event, at the gorgeous Chapel Performance Space. Music that night came from Triggerwords, Appalachian Yard Art, and Marwood Williams, with the music and lyrics of all three bands converted into extemporaneous poetry between sets by The Star‘s own Omar Willey.

Marwood Williams and Drew Dundon at the Chapel Performance Space.

Thanks again to Omar and the fine people at The Seattle Star for hosting such a magical event. I hope there will be more Creative Commons celebrations in the future.
