From time to time, I will dig through my music vault and post some older recordings.
The first edition of Marwood’s Music Vault features 2 versions of my song Electric Guitar Interlude. There’s about a 15 year gap between the 2 versions.
This recording dates back to 2004/2005. The production of this song started at the original Seattle location of “Tangled Wire Studios” and ended up being the 1st song I completed in my current digs (the basement of Marwood Manor.) This version features Jeff (I am sorry I don’t know his last name) on Drums and “crunch” rhythm guitar.
Now for a real blast from the past – here’s the original idea – Circa 1989.
This version is from the late 1980’s, was recorded in Kingston, PA and was the first “Completed” song done on my old Tascam Portastudio 4-track cassette recorder. The quality isn’t the greatest – The tape stock has degraded over the years – and the playing has some rough spots. At the time, however, I was was very happy to put something together. I owe a lot of thanks to my old friend Terry, who lent me an Yamaha Reverb box. (I am not sure of the model – but it might be a Yamaha Rex 50.)
I am still working on mixing my newest release. I hope to have it for you soon. I will also be releasing some older songs from the “vaults “of “Tangled Wire Studios.” More details to follow.
In the meantime, if your looking for a song to download, my friend Drew Dundon just released a new song for free download.
